Contribute to the Building FundFounded by Syed Ali Zia Rizvi in Karachi in 1964, the Anjuman was established in Atlanta in 1998 and led to the creation of Dar-e ‘Abbas. The name means “The Door of Abbas” — a reference to the valiant Hazrat Abbas ibn Ali (AS), the standard-bearer of Karbala.
Our congregation follows the Asna Ashari Shia tradition. Services are held primarily in Urdu, with English and Arabic on many occasions.
